It is with great sadness the family of Isobel Murphy announces her passing on November 2, 2020 after a brief illness at the age of 95. Daughter of the late Robert and Isabella Gordon. Isobel will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 72 years Ken. Cherished mother of Deb Vitek (Don), Kevin Murphy and the late Lori-Ann Murphy. Beloved grandmother of Tiffany Francis (Roger), Tim Vitek (Shannon) and the late Tara Lynn Vitek-Ciarma (the late Rudy Ciarma). Great grandmother “G G Ma” of Pierce and Preston Francis, Joseph Donald (J.D) and Caralina Ciarma and Bennett and Cameron Vitek.
Isobel loved to travel and spend time with family and friends socializing. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Amy’s Helping Hands for all their support during this difficult time. A special thank you to our families’ dear friends Maureen, Brenda and Sherri for everything you have done for our family.
If you so desire, donations to the Community Living Windsor or Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.On Tuesday December 8, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend a visitation from 2 – 6 pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Wednesday December 9, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend a funeral service at 11:30 am.
Please note due to COVID 19 regulations attendance for cemetery services may be limited, interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow.
