Obituary of Innocenzo Ferrara
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Enno announces his peaceful passing on December 14, 2020 at the Welland Hospital surrounded by his family. Beloved husband to Mary (neé DeMichele) for 60 years. Loving father of Tony (Maria), David (Jackie) and Christina. Caring nonno of Paul, Michael, Brooke and Brenna. He will be missed by his brother Mario (Anna) and Tony (Marisa). Predeceased by his parents Achille and Diletta and by his brother John and sister in-law Joanne. Enno was born in Catelpetroso, Italy and came to Canada at age 17. At an early age he worked for Simmons Auto Body and later went on to purchase and run a successful business for over 40 years. Enno loved to work hard, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Enno also loved hockey, loved to coach hockey and loved to watch his children and grandchildren play hockey.
Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church in Port Colborne with Father Peter Walton as celebrant. Interment at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation or to Northland Pointe. All guests invited to the Funeral Mass must adhere to Ontario COVID-19 Regulations, attendance will be monitored to maintain capacity and social distancing for the health and safety of all guests. All guests attending are asked to wear a facemask. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later time.
