Peacefully, on Saturday, January 18, 2020, in her one hundred and first year. Devoted wife of the late Daniel Schwarz and the late Hymie Lederman. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Terri and Sam Golden, Beverley and Joe Grushka. Cherished grandmother of Mark and Melissa Golden, Kevin and Caryn Golden; Daniel and Lynn Grushka, and Jeremy Grushka. Proud great- grandmother of Scott and Brett; Lea and Marli; Maya, Joshua, Jonathan and Matthew. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. A woman of courage and strength, who survived the Holocaust, she will be warmly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. Heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and caregivers for their care and diligence during many difficult times. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her daughter Beverley’s home through Sunday evening.
