Hilda Sellars
1946-2020
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on Monday, August
31, 2020, Hilda Sellars of Old Perlican, aged 73 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; parents, Berthrum and Jemima
Durdle; sister, Eleanor Tizzard; brother, Serrick Durdle;
parents in law, Jabez and Florance Sellars; brothers in law: Raymond
Tizzard, Andrew Pottle, Edward Sellars, Joseph Sellars and Max Clarke;
sisters in law, Georgina Budgell and Maggie Preston.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories son, Rodney; daughter, Lynette
(Trevor); granddaughters, Brittany (John) and Keri;
grandsons: Bruce (Karen) and Kirklend (Vanessa); great granddaughter,
Noelle; great grandson, Trenten;
sister, Vivian Pottle; sisters in law: Louise Durdle, Mildred (Boyd)
Wheadon, Florance Button and Leona Sellars;
brother in law, Bert Delaney; as well as a large circle of nieces,
nephews, cousins, extended family and a great circle of friends.
A very special thank you to Dr. Holloway of Wilkinson Memorial Health
Centre, Old Perlcian,
the staff of the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear and the staff
on 3N of the Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2020 2:00 pm. to
3:00 pm. at Hopkins’ Funeral Home, Old Perlican with Covid 19
restrictions in place.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from
the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove by invitation only, due
to Covid 19 restrictions.
Interment to follow in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Old Perlican.
