It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Marx. Beloved husband of Eva. Loving father and father-in-law of Robert and Rena
Marx, and Sarah and Andrew Shalit. Devoted grandfather of Ella and Hannah Marx, Harry and David Shalit. A former Professor of Constitutional Law at the Université de Montréal, Minister of Justice, Attorney General of Québec and Superior Court Judge, he will be remembered for his many contributions to
Québec society. Due to the coronavirus, there will be no funeral service at this time. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Université de Montréal, Faculté de droit, Fonds Herbert Marx, (514) 659-8404.
