Obituary of Helena Lepp
Lepp, Helena (Redekop) – May 22, 1942 – December 6, 2020 – Helen passed away peacefully at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of David for 58 years, and devoted mother to Dion (Joanne) and Melanie. She will be dearly missed by her three grandchildren, Nola, Owen and Corinne. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Cristina Redekop and brothers Peter (March 1945) and George (July 2019). Survived by brothers David (Guille) and Wally (Debbie), and sister Elma (Rick) Kimpel.
Helen was born in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico and immigrated with her family to Canada at the age of twelve. She devoted most of her life to farming and taking care of her family, and never begrudged hard work. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, selflessness and kindness to those in need.
Cremation has been entrusted to Tallman Funeral Homes. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
