Helen E. Keoughan
1927 – 2020
Helen Elizabeth Keoughan wife of the late Michael Louis “Bud” Keoughan of Miramichi passed away at the Losier Hall, Shannex on February 29, 2020.
Born in Barnaby River, NB, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Catherine A. (Casey) Brennan. She was a retired R.N.A from both Hotel Dieu Hospital (Chatham) and Ottawa General. She was a member of St. Michael’s Basilica and C.W.L.
She is survived by her sister, Francis McGaffey (Donald) of Windsor, ON; sister-in-law Connie Maher of Miramichi; 10 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Michael Louis “Bud” Keoughan, one sister, Mary, five brothers: Thomas, Vincent, Edward, John and William, sister-in-law, Mary (Maise).
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Basilica, Miramichi on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11 am with Father Paul Doucet as Celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Michael’s Basilica Building Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
