Peacefully, at his home in Hardwood Lake, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Clifford Hass, age 93, was the beloved husband for over 67 years to the late Frieda (Keller) Hass (2020). Loved father of Eddie Hass (Brenda) of Coe Hill, Coreen Whyte (David) of Bancroft, Katherine Dillon of Bancroft, Rodney Hass (Janet) of Hardwood Lake, Patsy Keller of Hardwood Lake, Barry Hass of Hardwood Lake, Janet Gravel (Yves) of Timmins, Derrich Hass of Hardwood Lake, Lawanda Keller (Bob) of Bancroft, and Abigail Leclere (Kelly) of Cobourg. Grandfather of 37, Great-grandfather of 34, and great great-grandfather of 2. Predeceased by his two sons Gary and Alvin. Brother of Iona Behm and Evelyn Behm. Brother-in-law of Joe Keller, Hazel Whyte, Louis Keller, Yvonne Stone, and Arthur Keller. Predeceased by his sons-in-law James Dillon and Richard Keller, and his siblings Leonard, John, Violet, Melita and Zelma. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Clifford’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church (786 Renfrew County Road 514, Schutt) on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Randy Liedtke officiating. Cremation will follow, with interment at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Schutt at a later date. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Schutt would be appreciated by the family.
