Obituary of Harvey Plett
Harvey Plett passed away peacefully at his home, on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 85.
He was born on August 1, 1935, in Satanta, Kansas. When he was almost four years old, he with his parents and sister moved to Blumenort, MB.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Esther (George Wiebe), Clarence (Linda), Edna Reimer, Martha (Dan Reimer, Olga Reimer and many nieces and nephews.
Harvey worked at Blumenort Poultry Plant as a foreman before he served as a missionary in Belize for two years and in the Bahamas for more than thirty years. He also volunteered at Beaver Creek Bible Camp and Eagle Lake Bible Camp for many years after his retirement. He had a heart for children and especially for the orphans in Nicaragua.
Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Abram and Sara Plett, brothers-in-law, Joe Reimer and Frank Reimer, one nephew-in-law, one niece and two great-nephews.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
