Obituary
On Friday July 24, 2020 Harold Keith Ferguson of Alliston, Ontario, formally of Downsview, Ontario died in his sleep due to issues related with his heart. He was born on June 4, 1929 in Castleford, Ontario. The youngest of 9, he moved to Kirkland Lake, Ontario at the age of 21 to apprentice as a plumber. It is there he met his wife of 66 years. The couple later moved to Downsview Ontario where they had and raised four boys, William Keith, Paul Joseph, Donald Harold and Gary Robert. He is survived by his wife Millie Mary, the four boys, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a respected tradesman and longtime member of U.A Local 46 Plumbers and Fitters, Toronto
The family will be welcoming people to pay their respects on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at W. John Thomas Funeral Home on 244 Victory Street East in Alliston from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
The funeral service and burial will be held outdoors on Thursday July 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Beechwood Cemetery (Section 7, Lot 2251E) on 7241 Jane St., Concord, Ontario, L4K 1A7. All are welcome. Due to Covid-19 restriction, no reception will follow. A celebration of life will be held at a later date (TBC). We ask all attendees to wear a mask and practice safe distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be much appreciated.
