Hannah Ann Phizicky
(née Peters)
On Monday, November 23, 2020 at the age of ninety-six. Beloved wife of the late Clem Phizicky for forty years. Cherished companion of the late Julius Altman of New York for sixteen years. Sister of the late Percy Peters and sister-in-law of Sonia Peters of Manchester, UK. Survived by her sons Stephen Phizicky (Dora Koop) and Eric Phizicky (Elizabeth Grayhack), her grandsons Michael and David (Sandra Seelig), granddaughters Alexandra and Lauren Phizicky and their mother Shelley Kerman. Also by great-grandchild Henry, son of David and Sandra. Ann was a beloved auntie to Beverley Sacks (Brian Cohen) and Lydia Engler (Jonathan Engler) of Manchester, UK and great-aunt to their children. Ann and Clem were children of the depression and the Second World War who met and married in Liverpool in 1945. They built a good life in Canada with a fine home, many friends, good jobs, Florida winters and golf. Many thanks to her caregivers Norie Talingchan, Brenda Tabag, Cora Velasco, Merlita Agustin, and her first carer and friend, Ronit Zaki. Thanks as well to Dr. Ilan Benjamin who looked after Ann for many years. A private graveside service will take place. Donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer Groupe, A.G.I., (514) 485-7233.
