La célébration de
Grant Perks
29 janvier 1946 –
4 mai 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Grant Donald Perks on May 4th, 2020 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Kathryn Perks. Dearly loved and missed by his children Ryan (Chantal) Perks & Kyle (Anna) Perks. Forever cherished by his grandchildren, Juliana Josephine Perks, Matthew Grant Perks, Alessia Rose Perks and Isabella Rose Perks. Grant adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Grant is survived by his sister Edna Robertson (the late Alan Robertson) and predeceased by his brother the Rev. Alan Perks (the late Ruth Perks) and his sister Marilyn Dorsey (Dr. Joseph E. Dorsey). He cherished his family.
Grant was a man of God who loved unconditionally. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his gentle spirit, his love of God, his wisdom and his passion for life. He enjoyed spending time outside tending to his lawn and gardens and going for long walks, making friends along the way. We would like to thank our neighbours, the First Responders and the staff at Juravinski Hospital for all of their heartfelt care and support during this time.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and Grant’s concern for families in need during this pandemic, kindly make a donation to Food Banks Canada or your local food bank.
