Obituary
Grant peacefully passed away on Saturday July 4th, 2020 at his home, in his 87th year. Much loved friend of Barbara Botham. Dear brother of Pearl Parniak (late-Steven), much loved uncle of Stephanie McCauley (Robert) , David Parniak (Mary Ellen) , Kevin Parniak (Debbie), Sherry Holtom (Harold), Cathy Mitchell (Kenny) and Daron Parniak (Arla). He will be remembered by his close friends Alan, Gerald, Doug and Bev as well as his many neighbours and relatives. Grant was the son of the late Kathleen and Fred Ulrich and he lived all his life on the farm on Rye Road, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an active member of South River Legion Branch 390 where he spent time playing cards and participating in the ATV rallies. Following Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of Life service will be held at Rye Cemetery on Thursday July 9th, 2020 at 11.00 a.m. Donations to South River Legion Branch 390 would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy by the family.
