Mom passed peacefully at the Red River nursing home unable to have family at her side due to the COVID 19 PANDEMIC.
Left to mourn her death are her two daughters, Sherry (Nicholas) Mulcahy of Selkirk and Virginia Magee of Victoria, BC. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jodie (Kyle), Riley, Garet, Brandy (Dawson); great grandson, Jackson; her sister Verla Erlendson, brother-in-law Floyd Hartman and son-in-law Bill Aisman. Marie was born in Phippen, SK, raised on the farm, with her parents and three sisters. She graduated grade 12 in North Battleford, SK. Marie became employed at the Bank of Montreal in North Battleford where she met her husband, Albert Buziak. In 1960 she began motherhood to her stepsons and shortly after gave birth to Cindy. Sherry was then born in 1963.
In 1971 Albert, Marie and their two daughters relocated to the Cypress Hills in southern SK for four-year duration before settling in Selkirk, MB. Marie was throughout her marriage a stay at home mother. She enjoyed baking and gardening, always taking her domestic duties very seriously. She eventually was reunited with her first daughter Virginia giving her a certain amount of peace.
A family celebration of her life was held in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel.
