Dawtry, Gloria (Davidson)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Dawtry on December 4, 2020 at the age of 77 years.
Loving wife of 48 years to Ronald Dawtry. Most cherished mother to Colleen (Bill) Thorpe, Lisa (Lyle) Simpson and Ron (Marisol) Dawtry.
Dear grandmother to Cameron, Kate, Cody, Mykala, Steven and Josh. Great grandmother to Melissa, Layton and Paisley.
Predeceased by her parents Harry and Laura Bell and brother Billy. Will be missed by sister to Kerry Bell and aunt to Ashley and Orin.
Gloria was a private secretary until she had her children. Her greatest joy came from her family, she loved to see and visit with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Gloria loved to take Melissa to figure skating and watching all her performances. Her great love for children extended to all the children she babysat.
She helped with tuck cart at the school and was instrumental in getting buses for students in the Banar subdivision. She loved to take scenic drives with many trips to Sparta and
Port Stanley. She always had a smile and kind word to say, even strangers would come up and talk to her and they would chat like they were friends.
A private family service has taken place, arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville. Memorial donations in Gloria’s memory may be made to WRCC. Please leave memories and condolences at www.Kendrickfuneralhome.com.
