LAJOIE, Gerald “Chum” – Mr. Gerald “Chum” Lajoie, passed away after a lengthy illness, at Cornwall Hospice on Saturday January 25, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Gloria (née McKinnon) Lajoie. Loved father of Kim Schonewille and Julie Lajoie. Cherished “Papa” to Abigael, Bryony, Corinne, Bryson and Emerie. Loved son of the late Alcide and Gracia (née Girard) Lajoie. Dear brother of Suzanne Renaud (Lloyd), Carole Faulkner (Fred), Jacques Lajoie (Joanne), and Jacqueline Poirier (Daniel). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, and Tuesday 9-10:15 AM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Columban’s Roman Catholic Church, 36 Fourth Street, West, Cornwall on Tuesday February 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
