George Mantziouras, passed away peacefully while sleeping in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family on February 8, 2020 at the age of 64. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife Chrisoula and his parents, Dimitrios and Euterpi Mantziouras. Dearest father of Debbie (John) Panagakos, Elie (Billy) Dimopoulos and Angelica (Cody) McGuire. Adored papou of Georgia, Dean, Mya, Aria and Emmett. Loving brother of Nick, Kosta (Thelma), Bill (Apostalia) and brother in law to Angie (Anesti) and Greg (Laurie). George will also be remembered by his mother in law, Eleutheria, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and the community that he touched in so many ways. George had spent 28 wonderful and fulfilling years running Kings Landing Restaurant, with his brother in law Greg, until they retired in 2016 marking an end of an era for Kingsville. He went on to operate Kings Landing Catering with his son in law Billy at Pelee Island Winery.
Visitation will take place at Kendrick Funeral Home, 91 Division St. S., Kingsville on Wednesday February 12, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. with prayers being said at 6 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 3052 Walker Road, Windsor on Thursday February 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Windsor Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Optimist Club of Kingsville.
