Geoffrey Mosley Somerville Chapman Monday November 30th 2020

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Geoff at Allandale Long-Term-Care Facility on November 30, 2020 from complications of COVID-19. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Klinck Chapman, and his many friends and relatives. He was the only child of the late Cora and Geoff Chapman of Uxbridge, and an internment in Uxbridge Cemetery will be made at a later date. Geoff was a graduate of the Photographic Arts program at Ryerson and spent all his life in the business as a professional photographer at various studios in Toronto, and it was through this connection that he met his wife, Bonnie, who also worked in the photographic business but at Kodak Canada. Geoff was known as a gentle man with personal depth and great sense of humour. A special “Thank-You” goes out to the staff at Allendale who cared for Geoff during his final years dealing with Frontal-Temporal Dementia. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. A Private Family Service will be held at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home in Milton on Tuesday December 8, 2020.
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle. Please refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands and please keep your face mask on at all times.
For those that can’t be in attendance there will be a «Live Streaming» of the Service for Geoff. A link will be up on the day of the service.
