Obituary of Gary Cranston
Gary passed away suddenly at his home on December 8, 2020. Born in Hamilton on June 14, 1957, Gary Robert Cranston of Owen Sound, formerly of Hamilton, was in his 64th year.
Beloved husband of Sandy (nee Francoeur) Cranston for 36 years. Cherished dad of Andrea Gaudet (Steven) of Hamilton and Sean Cranston (Tiffany Wilson) of Grimsby. Dear brother of Heather (Jack), Donna (John), Lillian (Bill), Bonnie (Les), Renee, Judy, Larry (Debbie) and Linda (Malcolm). Dearly missed by his canine companions Vader, Emma, Joey, and by Blake, his beloved cat. Gary will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a proud retiree from Dofasco in Hamilton, after 41 years, and will be sadly missed by old friends and new.
Cremation is taking place and a celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date when we can share embraces and gather in a safe setting. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
