M. Garnet’s Obituary
TAYLOR, Murray “Garnet” ~ Age 82, of Paradise, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Robert and Idella (Grant) Taylor. Garnet loved working in the woods, his horses and travelling to various exhibitions. He had been a Pepsi truck driver for many years. Garnet loved his family dearly who will always remember the times spent with him. Surviving are his loving and caring wife of 57 years, the former Linda M. Comeau; daughters, Connie Doolittle (the late Tony) , Dartmouth; Angela Taylor (Kevin Rhodenizer), Bridgewater; sons, Blair Taylor (Karen Halfpenny), New Germany; Murray Taylor (Donna Inkpen), Dartmouth; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sisters, Alberta Spurr (the late Kendall), Bridgetown; Debbie Fiske (Raymond), Greenfield; brothers, Wayne Taylor, Bridgetown; Ricky Taylor (Norma), Lawrencetown; Danny Taylor (Dottie), Wilmot; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by twin sons in infancy; sister, Gertrude Bent; brothers, Blair in infancy and David Taylor. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place in Paradise Cemetery, with Rev. Sweis Ubels officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society – Atlantic Division or to the Lung Association Nova Scotia.
