Gail Lillian Kristiansen of Grand Bend, passed Thursday, April 30, 2020, at South Hurom Hospital in Exeter at the age of 75.
Gail lived all of her life in the Port Franks and Grand Bend area enjoying her surroundings and raising her family. Gail is predeceased by her husbands Jim Smith, and James Boundy and is lovingly remembered by her children Fran Selinger, Rodney Smith, Clint Boundy (Erica Freer) Angela Boundy. Loved grandmother of Matthew Smith, Madison Stothers, Graci Stothers, Rease Stothers, Wesley Sanderson, and Jordan Sanderson. Gail is missed by her husband John Kristiansen residing at Chartwell Long Term Care in Parkhill, her brother Wayne Wellington (Brenda), their children, Ned, and Shannon(Jeff DeVet), as well as her inlaws, extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Gail was known for her determination and hard work, a licensed Insurance Broker, who always had a friendly family feline by her side. Gail kept busy, but never too busy to miss out on a visit and the opportunity to put on a home-cooked meal for those who stopped by, especially when it came to her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to sincerely thank the paramedics and first responders, especially, family friend Aaron Wilcox. Your professionalism and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. A private family service will take place at the Pinery Cemetery. Family and friends continue to remember Gail, a life lived with hard work, and a caring heart, filled with kindness, and generosity.
