Frederick’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Frederick Crocker of Trout River announce his peaceful passing at the Western Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook on October 17th ,2020.
Fred lived a very full life as a fisherman, hunter and gatherer. Being in the fishing boat was what he loved most but when he wasn’t on the open ocean he was at the river fly fishing.
Fishing may have been what he done for a living but heading in the woods on his quad or ski-doo moose hunting, snearing rabbits and berry picking were things he enjoyed to do for a past time. These later years Fred and his dog Holly walked many miles together up and down the board walk each and everyday. They werer the best of buddies.
Fred leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 60 years Hursie Crocker. His sons; Curtis Crocker (Ann), Lindsay Crocker (Pamela), Floyd Crocker (Marsha), Peter Crocker (Nikki). His daughters; Angela Crocker (George), Rosemarie Burden (Roger), Freda Crocker (Derrick) and Surina Grimes (Peter). 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his brother William Crocker (Ennett), sister-in-law Rosie Goosney also a large number of nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. As well as numerous other family and friends.
Fred was predeceased by his daughter Patricia Crocker, his parents Lucy & William Crocker, his mother and father-in-law Rhonda & Augustus Barnes and his brothers & sisters.
