Memorial Donation
passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre, aged 87 years. Predeceased by his wife Catherine (Hanlon), parents James and Elizabeth Brophy; sisters Regina Riggs, Joan Carew, Ruth Fahey (Philip-deceased), Marie Gosse (Edmund-deceased); brothers Paul, Clifton and Basil (Lillian-deceased); sister-in-law Rita Hanlon; brother-in-law: Leo Hanlon. Leaving to mourn his children: Keith, Larry, Neil (Anita), Sharon (Barbara Ivany), Michelle (Rob Brown); grandchildren: Amanda Nugent (Matthew), Krista Hillier (Chris), Chantel Brophy, Brandon and Jordan Brophy, Aidan and Kathleen Brown; great grandchildren: Owen and Ethan Nugent, Layla and Caleb Hillier; special friend and companion Margaret Crane; sisters: Doreen Lester (Charles), Geraldine Cowan (John-deceased); brothers: Jim (Lorraine-deceased), John (Pauline), Wayne (Theresa). Also left to mourn sister-in-laws: Marion Joyce (George-deceased), Catherine Hanlon, and Charlotte Brophy; brother-in-laws: Tom Hanlon (Gail), Bill Hanlon (Denise), Dave Hanlon (Eileen), Hubert Hanlon (Alice-deceased), Lawrence Hanlon, Danny Carew and Tom Riggs. A special thank-you to the staff at Cambridge Estates for their attention and caring while Frank was a resident there. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Raod. Visitation and Funeral Times to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Holy Rosary Parish in Portugal Cove, or a charity of your choice.
