Gale, Frank Harrison –Age 88, of Pleasant Valley passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2020.
Born in Pleasant Valley, he was a son of the late Ellison and Mary (Henley) Gale.
A life-long resident of Pleasant Valley, Frank was an honest, hard-working man. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, working in the woodpile, playing his guitar, and tending his chickens and had a soft spot for children.
Surviving are sons, Kenny (Janet), Ivan, Danny (Leah), Calvin, Conway (Brett); daughters, Louise, Juanita (Mark); 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clayton, Curtis (Barb); sister, Susanna Henley; brother-in-law, Gerald Harnish; sisters-in-law, Frances, Linda.
He was predeceased by wife, Amy; sons, Scottie, Levi; daughter, Roberta; brothers, Arnold, Walter, Gordon, Elwin, Leland; sisters, Ruth, Stella, Ellie.
A graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery, Upper Musquodoboit on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Rules of COVID-19 restrictions apply.
Memorial donations may be made to Musquodoboit Valley Health Foundation – Hospital.
