At her residence, on Monday, May 25th 2020, which happens to be her late husband’s birthday, Francine Foulem exercised her right as youngest member of her family of twelve to depart this world last. Little Francine was the daughter of the late Maurice Boudreau and late Marie-Anne Azèle Aubé.
She made her mark with her fun-loving and energetic approach to life, as a career nurse for 42 years, spouse of the love of her life the late Wilfred Foulem, as well as mother of Jasmine (late Jacques Bertrand), Marcel (Yvette Godin), Jacques (Christine Lanoie), Denis (Fernande Roy), François (Sylvie Loubier) and Luc (Sylvie Aubé). She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
We will always fondly remember her passion for piano and bowling, her devotion to family, but especially her radiant smile, the mark of her zest for life.
The family thanks with all of their hearts the following individuals who gave of themselves during Francine’s last journey: Yvon and Raymonde St-Coeur, generous and caring neighbors who became part of the family; Sylvie Aubé-Foulem for her precious support towards Francine and her family throughout our last efforts; the nurses, managers and caregivers at the Extra-Mural Program who were our guardian angels for the end-of-life care offered to our mother.
Because of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the end-of-life celebration of Francine Foulem will be held privately.
