MERRICK, Frances Annie – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Frances Merrick on Saturday, June 6th, 2020, in her 89th year at home. Predeceased by parents John and Minnie Morrison (Spry). Loving wife to Bob Merrick for over 70 years. Mother to Carolyn Rowe (John), Gail Courneya, and Glen Merrick (Jennifer). Sister to Mary Bedford-Moore, and predeceased by siblings Nellie Smith, Edna Haggerty, Alice Hoard, Morris Morrison, and Millie Carr. Grandmother to Krista, Kim, Travis, Nathan, Joshua, Tyler, Mark, Caitlin, and predeceased by grandson Matthew. Great grandmother to 7, Throughout Frances’s life, she was an avid golfer, Toronto Blue Jays fan, member of Mt. Pleasant UCW, member of Farmtown park, member of the Stirling Fair Board (Ladies Horticultural Division), and an award-winning Cake decorator. Lastly, she worked side by side with Bob throughout his many business ventures. In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). A private family graveside service will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Stirling. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Mt.
