Eugene spent most of his working life from September 1971 with numerous co-workers at Memorial University Printing Services in St. John’s Newfoundland. Eugene had a passion for joking around, it came as a second nature right from childhood pranking and tricking his siblings. He loved to make people laugh, and he combined his two favorite past times to make people always feel welcome and comfortable. He would make his own funny greeting cards with various jokes/ pictures on them. Everyone always will remember Eugene for his sense of humour not only by his friends and family, but also by all who frequented the numerous Dart Leagues he attended. He was a hard core lover of Chicago Blackhawks from watching the games, screaming at the Tv or his love for collecting there memorabilia and Hats. He is remembered for his quick wit, his infectious smile/laugh, his kind and compassionate heart and the love he had for Wife Valerie, His Loving children and especially his Grandchildren.
We are also very grateful for the loving care, compassion and dignity provided to our Husband/ Father and our family by Dr. Gary Rideout, Shoppers Mt Pearl, A special thank you to all the staff with the cancer clinic/ Eastern Health for their care and compassion at this difficult time.
