Hanley, Ernest « Ernie »
Francis, 64, died November 6, 2020 in Calgary, AB. Born in Pembrook,
ON to the late John « Jack » & Jennie (Frost)
Hanley.
Ernie grew up in Marysville and leaves
behind life-long friends, « The Marysville Boys », Mike
Kendrick, Mike Kehoe and Dana Poore. Ernie worked in the Alberta gas
industry for over 30 years until his retirement last
year.
Ernie is survived by his daughter Taylor
Hanley (Saxon Butte) and his grandson Beau, Grimshaw, AB. His siblings
Diane Hanley, Petitcodiac, NB, Harry (Maureen) Hanley, Campbell
Settlement, NB, Dorothy (Bubs) Brown, Nashwaak Bridge, NB, nephews
Richard Sellers, St. John’s NL, Bob (Ginette Despres)
Sellers, Colpitts Settlement, NB, great nephews DJ & Nick
Sellers St. John’s NL, Brandon (Sarah LeCanelier) Sellers,
Dieppe, NB, also several cousins in NB and ON.
Our family would like to thank
Ernie’s extended Calgary family Dana & Sasha Munden
and their girls Mika & Zoey for all their love and care over
the years.
Cremation has taken place and Ernie was
returned to NB to be buried with his Mom & Dad at Sunnybank
Cemetery in Fredericton, NB at a later date. Arrangements in care of
The Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800). If desired,
memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
