ERIC ARNOLD LUNDGREN
AUGUST 14, 1943- JULY 22, 2020
A life well lived by a man well loved!!
Eric passed away surrounded by his wife of 54 years, the love of his life, Jeannette, and his three girls, Vicki, Dennise, and Shannon, at VGH.
Along with Jeannette and his girls, Eric leaves behind his 3 son in laws, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was so proud of them all. He also leaves behind 2 sisters in Saskatchewan, and numerous family and friends.
Eric was born in Elk Point, Alberta, instilling a sense of hardwork and a humble life. He believed in keeping things simple, he cherished his family and friendships. He worked as a millwright in the Youbou sawmill for 40 years. Eric always said his favorite days were spent fishing at Port Renfrew. He enjoyed camping with his family, and was always up for a game of crib or deuces. Grandpa enjoyed telling stories of his mischievous days to his grandchildren.
After retirement, Eric and Jeannette were inseperable, enjoying a cruise to Alaska, and a trip to the sunshine coast, a family vacation to Mexico, and all of the family gatherings filled with love and laughter. The love they had for each other was a source of strength and inspiration to all that knew them.
Eric’s little red truck could be seen on his daily routine with the A&W coffee crew, and the Irly Bird Family. Thanks to all of you that filled his days with your stories and friendships.
Jeannette and the family would like to thank Dr. Peter Postuk for the years of care to Eric.
Due to the current covid restrictions, there will be no service, but a small family gathering. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
We will miss the twinkle in your eyes, and that cheeky grin. Rest in peace Dad
