Unexpectedly on October 1, 2020. Emma “Sunshine” was born in Windsor on September 27, 1999. The loving daughter of Jennifer and James “Jay” Fitzgerald. Treasured sister of Jessica Wauthier (Ellison), and Victoria Bertling (Ryan). Fantastic “Auntie Emm” to Kyliee, JaeLynn, Madison and Colten and soon to be J.J. Best friend and fiancée of Robert Whitehead. Beloved granddaughter of Jim & Linda Fitzgerald, Moe Veldhuizen & Grandma Ann Eansor. Her late Grandmother, Donna Veldhuizen (1998), never got to hold her but she holds her now. Dearest niece of Colleen Patrick (John), Michael Veldhizen and Kim Solecki (Dennis).
Emma was a graduate of St. Thomas Villanova High School and St. Clair College. She had plans to return to St. Clair in pursuit of a Para Legal Certificate. Emma & Rob loved gecos and had raised several different kinds; her favourite was named “Princess”. She was always smiling, loved life and was always ready to take on the next adventure.
Emma will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her close group of friends, especially Tayah Storm.
