Elva’s Obituary
It is with fond and loving memories that the families of the late Elva Catherine Hutchings nee Verge announce her passing on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care facility in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 100 years.
She will be greatly missed with fond, loving, and precious memories by her children; Bride Hutchings (Stan), Evelyn Pittman (Jim), Myrna House (Bernard), Don, and Paul, a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, her sisters; Alma House (Eric), Almeda Thornhill, Elva was predeceased by her husband; Stedman, sons; Oscar and Felix, daughters; Linda, and Beverly, special grandson; Dion, grandchildren; Enos, Roger, Melva, Neta, Vivian, and Glennis, great grandchildren; Jeffrey, Dylan, and Mitchel, sisters; Opal, and Emma, brothers; Donald, and Curtis. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Mary’s The Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Thursday, February 13th, 2020, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral service will take place from on Friday, February 14th, 2020, at 2:30 pm, with Rev Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
