Survived by her gorgeous daughter, Kathleen of Hawkesbury, ON-granddaughters Zoe and Sophie Trahan. Dear sister of Tom (Linda) Kreiner, Toronto; Philip Kreiner, Shizuoka, Japan; Laurie Kreiner (Ron Vaillancourt), South Porcupine; Kathy Kreiner Phillips (Dave), North Vancouver, BC; sister-in-law (Shelley Bamford), Timmins. Nephew/Nieces; Jon (Athena) Kreiner-Jared, Alyssa, Thunder Bay; Matt Kreiner-Samantha, Sarah, Barrie; Evan Kreiner, New York City; Emma, Julia Kreiner, Toronto; Angela Kreiner Vaillancourt (Andrew Minthorn)-Navy Mae, Juniper, Golden, BC; Russell Kreiner Vaillancourt, Revelstoke, BC; Nelson, Liam, Michela Phillips, North Vancouver; Debbie Baziuk, Timmins, Corinne Rooney, plus many more Spohn/Thompson relatives.
Libby was the oldest of the 6 Kreiner kids-all within 10 years. She lived a full life that entailed the happenings and hectic shenanigans of a large family. Libby married kind Jack, raised a wonderful daughter, resulting in two fine granddaughters. She defied the odds of surviving into, through her 20’s to old age. She certainly did what she wished, living an independent life and enjoyed practicing her language skills. We all miss her, her lovely smile, her quick wit; but it was her time to go, on to new realms.
The family would like to thank Timmins Golden Manor, Dr Julie Auger, Heather Bozzer, all the nurses & staff for her exceptional care on West 2 these last 20 years or so. Thank you to Rev Greg Gilson, Iris Montague, St Matthews Cathedral & St Paul’s Anglican Church who provided solace and support.
Remembrance donations to the Timmins Golden Manor Memorial Fund or David Kreiner Vaillancourt Memorial Fund, Concordia University, Montreal, QC, would be greatly appreciated. A commemoration of Libby’s life will be held at a later date.
