Passed away peacefully at Runnymede Healthcare Centre, Toronto, Ontario on Monday, October 26th, 2020 in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Kinszler in 1982, she has now joined Dad (her “Sunny Boy”) in the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour.
Survived by her loving daughter Suzannah Shirley Kinszler-Harvey, her loving son-in-law Donald and her beloved grandson Michael Baschuk. She will forever live in our hearts.
Elizabeth endured many of life’s battles and setbacks with outstanding courage and a warrior’s will to prevail. A strong woman who refused to let life’s disappointments define her, break her spirit or force her to abandon her beliefs. Someone who was not only my Mom but my best friend. Someone I will always look up to, admire and treasure. I will miss you. May you have sweet dreams and rest now.
I look forward to our next cup of tea and chat when we meet again.
Elizabeth will always be remembered for her love of family and always being there. She will also be remembered for her love of the simple pleasures in life including, warm sunshine chats, sharing a hot cup of tea, baking treats for Sunday, grocery runs with pizza lunch after. Her other loves were going to the theatre, reading, watching classic movies and partaking in the Hungarian Seniors Club where she loved to share stories, have a laugh, celebrate birthdays and play cards.
A very Special Thanks to the Team at Runnymede Healthcare Centre who continually provided their “Queenie” Elizabeth (Mom) with untold kindness and care. Our appreciation for these wonderful people knows no bounds.
A private funeral service will be held at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church on Monday November 2, 2020 with interment to follow at the Parklawn Cemetery and Mausoleum.
