Eileen Emily Beneteau (nee Curtis)
Unexpectedly, on January 2, 2020 at 83 years of age, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Donald J. Beneteau for 62 years. Loving mother of Deborah (George Hewitt), David (Paula), Chris (Shelly), Michael (Sandy), Donna, and Rosanne (Dale Cornelsen). Treasured Grandma of Devon, Ryan, Cole, Darryl, Steven, Christine, late Kevin, Josh, Alicia, Sarah, Olivia, Natalie, Patrick, Heather, Cameron, and Erin. Proud G.G. of Lena, Mae, Elise and one great-grandson on the way. Dear sister of Ed (Joan), late Jim (Barb), JoAnne (Dean) and John (Shirley). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Johanna (Joan) Curtis. Eileen was a member of St. John’s Parish, an active member of the CWL, a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a volunteer and supporter of Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village, and a matriarch of the CenterLine (Windsor) Limited family. Special thank you to the staff of Amy’s Helping Hands and WRH- Ouellette Campus for their care and compassion. If you so desire, donations to St. John the Baptist Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Saturday, January 4th 2-4pm and Sunday, January 5th 3-5pm and 7-9pm with parish prayers Sunday at 4:30pm. Funeral Monday, January 6th leaving from Families First , 585 Sandwich St S., Amherstburg, 519-969-5841 at 10:15am to St. John the Baptist Church for Mass at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
