The death occurred
peacefully at Andrews of Parkhill on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, of
Edward Joseph Gaudet, of Summerside, and formerly of
Tignish, age 89. Born on July 1, 1931, to the late Charles and Mary
(Peters) Gaudet. Predeceased by his wife of 62
years, Rose
Marie Gaudet.
Loving
father to
Kenneth (Lorna) Gaudet of Charlottetown; Patsy
(Jamie) Langille of Williamswood, NS; Rosalie (Maurice) Richard of North
Wiltshire; Mary Lou (Dave) Talbot of Lake Orion, Michigan; Ricky
(Cindy) Gaudet of Winnipeg; and Tracy
(Blair) Christopher of
Margate. Edward
(Papa) will be
sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and by his 12
great-grandchildren. He is also survived by
his many nieces, nephews and
friends. Edward
was predeceased
by his grandchildren, Meghan Talbot and
Derek Shea, great-grandson,
Oliver Underhay,
grandson-in-law, Josh Underhay, daughter-in-law, Kathy Gaudet (Koughan), and by his brother, Gerard Gaudet and sister,
Rita Aylward.
Resting at the Rooney
Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., for family and
invited guests. Private funeral mass Saturday
morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church,
Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:00
a.m., Rev. John
Molina, celebrant. Interment in the church
cemetery.

and St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be gratefully
