Edna’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the families of Edna Dorcus Sheppard nee White announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Thursday, June 25th, 2020, in her 96 year.
Edna was predeceased by her husband; Zebedee, her parents; Eliza and George White, her sisters; Evelyn (Garfield), and Dulcie (Randell), her brothers; Garrison, Clayton (Vera), Donald, and Blandford, Daughter-in-law; Jessie. Brother-in-law; Larry,
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons; Nelson (Beulah), Jack, her grandchildren; Chad (Tina), and Colin (Jennifer), great grandchildren; Matthew, Mason, Chelsea, and Lucas, her sister; Mary, brothers; Norman (Ruby), and Edd (Judy), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A special thank you to her niece Georgia for your kindness, caring and support over the years. Words cannot express the extent of our appreciation for all that you have done for her. The family would also like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre for your phenomenal care and compassion shown to Edna.
Edna will be forever remembered for her hospitality. She loved meeting people, entertaining, cooking / baking and crocheting / crafts. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 Government regulations there will be a private viewing for immediate family members and the funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 28th, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, with Deacon Francis Elgar officiating.
