It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edmund Bennett announce his passing on
October 18, 2020 in his 84th Year. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Dolores and daughters
Leona (Butch) Gosney, Rhonda (Sheldon) Gordon, Tammy (Neil) Evans and Son Guy (Carol)
Alexander. Grand-Children Kevin, Adrian, Andrew(Maïwenn) and Nicholas (Chelsey) and
great-granddaughter Ellie. Also leaving to mourn are siblings Annette (Tony) Specker, Greta
Gillard (Robert Alexander), Vincent, Shirley (Leo) Theriault, Ursula (Hubert) Hynes, Edwina
(Freeman Parsons), Douglas (Marcie), Gregory (Sheila Walsh), Roger (Deborah Price) and
Cynthia (Lionel) Foote and Sister-in-law Mimie and Tom Wells along with his in-laws Sheila
Hynes, Elizabeth Rubia, Brendan, Vernon(Vi), Aubrey (Beverly), Maj (Deanna), Juanita (Henry),
Wayne (Dianne), Ivan and Freeman (Camilla) and long list of Nieces and Nephews and
extended family.
Edmund is predeceased by Parents Norman and Hattie, mother and father – in – law Wilbert and
Mae Alexander, Brothers Russell and Bernard, Sisters Norma and Geneva, Brother-in-laws
Gary Gillard, Gord Samms, Larry Hynes and Nelson Rubia and Sister-in-law Vida Bennett. Private viewing for family and friends on Tuesday from 2-4pm. at Parsons Funeral Home, Deer Lake. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 am. with Father Gabriel officiating. Interment at the family plot on Whites Road.
The family would also like to thank the Western Health Nurses and Doctors of palliative care and
cancer centers for their tremendous support during this time.
