Edmond Tremblay
1943-2020
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB
– Edmond Tremblay, 77, of Saint-Louis passed away peacefully
at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Ste. Anne on Tuesday, December
8th, 2020. Born in Saint-Louis,
he was the son of the late Fidèle and Helene (Ferron)
Tremblay. Before retiring, Edmond worked as a
mechanic.
Edmond leaves to mourn his two daughters, Paulette
Robichaud (Raphaël) and Monique Richard (Maurice), both of
Saint-Louis; his son Robert Tremblay (Dianne) of Saint-Louis; as well
as his six grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren.
Edmond will also be sadly missed by his two sisters,
Marie-Louise Doucet (late Ovila) of Bouctouche and Cécile
Tremblay (Laurent) of Ste. Marie; his three brothers, Normand (late
Sharon) of Saint John, Pierre (Sylvie) and Jean (Solange), both of
Montreal, QC; as well as by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Edmond was predeceased by his
wife, Yvonne (Arsenault); his infant son, Leopold; three sisters,
Thérèse, Noëlla and Rita; and by his
two brothers, Roger and
Normand.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s
Memorial Home, Saint-Louis on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm and Thursday
from 9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 11:00am,
Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis. Following COVID-19 regulations, masks are mandatory at
all times at the funeral home and at the church during the service and
we ask that social distancing be
respected.
The family would like to express their sincere
gratitude to the staff at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital and also
to the Extra Mural nurses for the excellent care that they all
provided to Edmond.
If so desired, donations in Edmond’s memory
made to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the
family.
