Peacefully, on Sunday, January 19, 2020, in her ninety-second year. Eddie Hazan was a renowned French teacher, artist, polyglot and passionate singer. Wife of the late Elie Hazan. Daughter of the late Clement and the late Evelyn Pardo (née Castro). Beloved mother of Danielle Sultan (Evan), Lynn Hazan and Morris Hazan (Louise Massicotte). Proud grandmother of Jared Ross, Ariel and Alex Hazan. Dear sister of the late Helen Bibace, the late Joseph Pardo (Tania), the late Lilian Behar (the late Joe), the late Ferdinand Pardo (Gwen). Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Eddie Hazan will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Special thanks to her devoted caregivers, and the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre, Jewish General and St. Mary’s Hospitals. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Celebration of Life will be held following the burial at the Jewish Eldercare Centre: 5725 Victoria Ave., in the Lederman Foundation Education Room (2C.01).
