Peacefully, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Douglas Norris Charles Wilson passed away at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the Magdalena “Leny” Wilson (nee Kessler). Loving father of Judy Wilson, David Wilson and Diana Wilson. Cherished grandfather of Jeff, Danielle and Josh. Doug will be missed by his siblings, Pete Wilson, and Kathy Smith and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Violet Wilson, his sons Douglas Wilson and Danny Wilson, and his siblings Paul Wilson, Ken Wilson, Bob Wilson, Sheila McDowell, and Joan Trevor. Doug was born at home in Fairground, Ontario on August 28th, 1932. Doug was a proud employee of Union Sheet metal for many years. He enjoyed hobbies like boating and fishing as well. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family memorial service held with an inurnment to follow at Kinglake Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the Wilson family.
