Passed away suddenly October 2, 2020, Douglas Arthur Tilley, of St. John’s formerly of Elliston, Trinity Bay.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Jane Tilley, sister Shirley Ryder, brothers Gerald and Roy Tilley, sister-in-law Betty Tilley, and brother-in-law Calvin Ryder.
Left with saddened hearts his wife Gertie, and only child Sue Ann Tilley. Also fondly remembered by his sister Audrey Tilley, sister-in-law Marion Tilley, and a large extended family. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Luke’s Homes for their exceptional care. Following Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
