Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donalda (Manuel) Theriault announces her passing on December 6th, 2020 at the age of 64.
She was the daughter of the late Anthime Manuel and Viola Jenkins. She is survived by her loving husband, Romeo Theriault of 45 years, and her daughters: Angele (Jason) Driscoll, and Melanie (Jeffrey) Lamkey, and her four grandchildren: Ty and Nate Driscoll, Reese and Cohen Lamkey; brothers: Robert (Gilberte) Manuel, Guy (Jacinthe) Manuel; sisters: Denise Manuel, Astrid (Lucien) Thibodeau, and Gisele (Andy) Hickey, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers: Julien, Carl and Francois Manuel, and her sister, Sharon Martin.
Donalda worked many years as a Cashier, however, her love was always to look after children at her home, which she did for 15 years. Jessica and Emma had a special place in her heart.
She was a big sports fan and was an avid Montreal Canadians fan. She was always tormenting her neighbor Frank, who was a devoted Leafs fan. She always looked forward to her Sunday family suppers and loved shopping and spoiling everyone she loved.
Donalda will forever be remembered for her caring heart and love of family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Physicians and Staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, who provided wonderful care to her; especially on 4 East and Palliative Care.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A PRIVATE funeral service will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with Father John Fraser as Celebrant. Due to COVID-19 regulations, please be reminded that masks must be worn both indoors and outdoors on the funeral home property. Please confirm attendance upon entrance. A reminder to any visitors travelling from an orange zone into a yellow zone that adherence to public health advice is required. Please refer to Government of NB guidelines:
