May 31, 1930 – July 12, 2020
On Sunday, July 12, 2020 Dolly Britton (nee: Wludyka) passed peacefully with her family by her side at the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Britton to whom she was married for 54 years. Cherished mother to George Britton and Judy (Ed) Donaldson. Loving grandma to Joey and Tim. Survived by her siblings Charlotte (Ernie), Evelyn (Larry) and Walter “Butch” (Helen). Pre-deceased by her sisters Eileen and Clara. Dolly will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends. She and Frank owned Frank’s Variety for many years. Dolly was an avid gardener and was known for her beautiful gardens and especially for her roses. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bowmanville Ontario since 1954. The family of Dolly would like to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to Dr. Deborah Jefferson for her kindness and compassion. Due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private family burial at the Bowmanville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
