It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Diane Soneff (née Jasmin) on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Stanley Soneff. Cherished mother of Katie Plante (Maggie) and Jacob Plante. Best friend and sister of Carol (Jim) Sterioff. Dear step-mother of Lorna (Joey) Chevrier, Bonnie (Dan) Boissonneault and Tara-Lee (Murray) DeRuiter. Proud step-grandmother of Joel, Natasha, Lorne, Brody and Tessa.
Predeceased by her parents Maurice and Laura Jasmin. Diane will be sadly missed by her many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, her Kinette family and so many great friends.
Diane was creative and artistic. She had a passion for crafting, painting and baking. Her vibrant, loving and joyous personality came through in every aspect of her life. Diane’s cupcakes will surely be missed by her family and friends. Diane loved being involved in, and giving back to her community. She was a member of the Kinette Club of Timmins and the Porcupine Horticultural Society. Wherever Diane was, you could always count on her being there with her beautiful and contagious smile. Her bright and loving personality will truly be missed by anyone who was blessed to have known her. Surely, Diane has found her paradise – most likely on a beach in a Flamingo sanctuary.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate her life at a later date. Remembrance donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the Timmins & District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
