Devan Matthew Degenstein (Dev, Deg) came into the world bringing joy to the Johnson family on October 1, 1989. He graduated Erle Rivers High School in 2007 and Lethbridge College as a Journeyman Welder ahead of schedule.
Devan will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his loving fiancée and best friend of 16 years Breanna Smith (Breezer), parents Tammy and Dave Degenstein, “Baby Sister” Taia Degenstein (and Chad) and brothers Garrett (and Gabby), Braydn, and Carson Degenstein, Breanna‘s siblings and parents Travis Smith and Jill Lodermeier, Vanna and Troy Baker, Roychella and Dwayne Theodore, Bren and Roy Smith, grandparents Betty and Albert (Al) Johnson, Jan and Tracy, Gina and Jayda Johnson, Karen, Alycia (and Jason), Rachelle (and Alex), Deb, Perrin and Gramma June Degenstein, Brenda and Steve Schlaht, Karissa and Steve, Gabe and Bodhi Wong, Sherise Schlaht, Jay and Cara Schlaht, and many nieces and nephews.
On Christmas Day, Devan was greeted on the other side by Papa Pete, great grandparents Nana and Grandpa Nels, Baba and Gedo, Uncle Kevin and friends Jordan and Shane.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Martha’s Parish,355 Columbia Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 am
