1955-2020
CHUTE DEBORAH M. – Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital with
her family by her side, Deborah Mae (Matthews) Chute, wife of Garry
Livingstone Chute of Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, NB. Born In
Eastport ME, U.S.A. she was the daughter of the late Harold Leigh
& Rosalie Muriel (Newman) Matthews.
Debbie worked most of her life with the Campobello Lodge and
in her most recent years worked as a Med Tech with the Oceanview
Nursing Home in Lubec, ME.
She was a longtime member of Wilsons Beach United Baptist
Church.
Surviving in addition to her beloved husband Garry of 46 years
are daughter Kristy Chute Daye (Ken), 2 sons Trevor (Lisa) and Brendan
Ross(Sonia) all of Campobello, NB, 1 sister Nancy Mitchell (Greg) of
Hampton, NB, 2 brothers Jamie (Melanie) of Lakeland Florida, U.S.A.
and Barry (Linda) of Campobello, NB.
She will also be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren who always
lovingly endeared her as “ Mia” or “Anya” ;
Alyssa & Delaney Chute, Eli & Kai Daye, Emmett & Isabelle
Chute, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debbie was predeceased by her 2 brothers Raymond Edward &
Francis Leroy.
Visiting will be held for friends and family on Sunday February 23rd
from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, at the church. A celebration of
Debbie’s life will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2020 at
1:00 pm at Wilson’s Beach United Baptist Church. Rev. John
Tremblett will officiate. A private family interment will take place
later in the spring at North Road Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family

The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their
sincere appreciation to the Dr’s, nurses and staff of Floor 1 of
Charlotte County Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Debbie
and her family during this difficult time. We are forever grateful and
you will always be remembered.
