Service Details
With mixed sadness and joy the family of David Tennis Redpath, Estevan, announces his passing, and promotion to glory, on Friday, February 20, 2020 at the age of 91 years.
Dave was born June 9, 1928 near Gainsborough, SK. He married Gayle Barnstable in 1952 and they had three children. He managed the Gainsborough Credit Union for almost 20 years before moving to Estevan, where they ran the Outreach Bookstore for 10 years. Dave served Jesus throughout his life, and was always active in the church.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gayle; parents, Edward & Lillie (Cudmore); two brothers, Roy (Hazel) and Tabor (Vivian); in-laws, Roy & Suzan Barnstable; brother-in-law, Ray (Helene) Barnstable; sisters-in-law, Ellen Redpath, Evelyn Barnstable and Beverly Barnstable.
Dave is survived by his three children: son, Terry (Brenda) of Saskatoon their family, Scott, Jordan (Zandrae), and Thomas (Jane); daughter, Linda (Ron) Johnson of Saskatoon their family, Leah (Dallas) and Regan (Jonathan); daughter, Robin (Brent) Wilson of Estevan their family, Tasha (Darwin), Vaughn (Amber), Dustin (Megan), and Carter; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Bob Barnstable, Orville (Ethel) Barnstable, Bill Barnstable, Kirk (Anita) Barnstable; sister-in-law, Myrna (Lloyd) Redpath; also numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Dave will be held at the Living Hope Community Church, 100 King St. Estevan on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm. A family interment will take place at the Macoun Cemetery prior to the funeral service. There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments following the funeral service.
