CONDON, David O’Brien
Passed away suddenly in Collingwood, Ontario at the age of 46 on July 14, 2020. Dearly beloved son of Walter and Terry Condon of Sudbury, Ontario and brother to Sheila (Izak) Westgate of Newmarket, Ontario, he will be truly missed as a very special uncle by his four nephews, Braydon, Landyn, Keldan and Rylin. He will also be missed greatly by Kathryn Godin and his devoted dog Lola. David was a graduate of Laurentian University and received his teacher’s degree while studying abroad in Australia. Settling in Collingwood, he has been part of the faculty at Jean Vanier Catholic High School for two decades as a dedicated teacher in history and law. David enjoyed both playing and coaching hockey, but his true love and passion was spending time on the mountain bike trails with his closest friends. A private interment ceremony will take place in Sudbury, Ontario. Due to ongoing pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later day. In lieu of flowers and if desired, the family requests that memorial donations are made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) of Canada at www.jdrf.ca.
