OGBORNE, David –
It is with sadness that the family of David Herman Ogborne announcement his passing on Tuesday January 7, 2020. Loving husband for 27 years to Loreen Kerr-Galbreath; cherished father of Stephen (Rose), Patrick (Linda), Phillip (Franceen) and Tim (Cindy) and step-father to Todd Galbreath and Naomi (Darren) Force; grandfather to 7 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. Dave is survived by his brother Wray (Annabelle) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Nina (Cox), brothers Ronald, Lloyd, and Grant, sister in laws Joan and Hazel, a step-grandson, Dawson and his first wife Vera.
Dave was born in Townsend Twp. Ontario and lived in Norwich and became Plant Manager of Medusa Cement in Paris where he worked for 35 years. When Medusa closed, he worked for 6 years at Federal-White in Woodstock, retiring in 1988. He was an adherent of Paris Baptist Church for many years.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A family interment will be held at Paris Cemetery. A service to celebrate David’s Life will be held at Paris Baptist Church, (25 Broadway St. W. Paris) on Friday January 10th 2020 at 1:00 PM.
