It is with great sadness we announce Dan passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the age of 32. Devoted father of Aubree Faith Verbaan and sadly missed by her mother Shelby Nevius. Cherished son of Julia Moore (late Steve) and Art Verbaan (Melanie). Loving brother of Mike (Lindsay) and Charlie. Cherished uncle of Chloe. Dear grandson of Dr. A.D. Holliday-Rhodes and Sonya Holliday-Rhodes (Vic Disik), and Catherina Verbaan and the late Aart Verbaan. He will be sadly missed by his family in Scotland and England as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada. The love of Dan’s life was his daughter Aubree. He was a passionate and caring father who attempted to make the world a magical place for her. Everything Daniel did was always at 150% effort. A skilled tradesman, he was an extremely hard worker. He loved snowboarding, wakeboarding, hockey, soccer, weight lifting, working out and tattoos. He participated in numerous running events. Most of all Dan loved spending time with his family. He wore his heart on his sleeve and would share his most heartfelt feelings. His soul was pure and full of life and love. A private family service will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467.
